How do you apply EpoxyFlex?
Since it is a liquid, it can be applied a number of different ways. Once the roof has been prepared for EpoxyFlex application, you can roll it on, spread it or even brush it on.

Will I need to replace my old roof to use the EpoxyFlex System?
No, not if your existing roof is in sound condition. The surface of the roof must be moisture free to apply EpoxyFlex.

Is EpoxyFlex environmentally friendly?
Yes, EpoxyFlex is a non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, water-based coating. We provide sensitive alternatives to an industry that recognizes the negative impact it causes to our environment by the voluminous waste it generates. Our mission is to be a responsible and respected environmental leader by setting standards to protect life, health, environment, and non-renewable resources. In manufacturing EpoxyFlex, there are NO significant quantities of waste. Manufacturing of the product and the application process are non-energy intensive. Implementation of EpoxyFlex's maintenance program reduces weathered, depleted, and discarded materials generally returned to our environment (landfills) as remodeling waste. Ingredients within EpoxyFlex are recognized as catalytic disseminators of certain harmful air pollutants such as smog. Studies also show that utilizing EpoxyFlex may reduce the polluting effect of Urban Heat Islands.

How long will the new roof coating last?
The EpoxyFlex Maintenance System shields subordinate roofing materials indefinitely. The EpoxyFlex System is designed to wear from the top down to maintain the internal integrity of the underlying materials, thus protecting your financial investment. With EpoxyFlex's value-added benefits and maintenance system, a building may retain its current roofing system indefinitely. Simply put, roof tear-offs may become obsolete.

Can EpoxyFlex be used in a high traffic area?
EpoxyFlex's non-tacky surface is excellent for high traffic areas. EpoxyFlex's durability eliminates the need for heavy stepping stones and blowing spaghetti pads.

What surfaces can EpoxyFlex be used on?
Use EpoxyFlex on almost any surface. EpoxyFlex may be used wherever a permanent elastomeric coating is desired. EpoxyFlex's maintenance membrane acts as a vapor and thermal barrier, and can be used to enhance, protect, and improve bridged expansion gaps, as a concrete coating in above and below grade applications, and as a stucco color coat. EpoxyFlex is impenetrable by certain bacteria, moss, molds, algae, rust, chemicals, UV radiation, and seawater. Since EpoxyFlex has superior adhesion properties, it will permanently adhere to almost any surface and is perfect for commercial, industrial, or residential use. (See application manual).

Is the EpoxyFlex coating easily corrupted or penetrated?

EpoxyFlex is a seamless single-ply maintenance membrane that protects against roof killers such as UV radiation, prolonged deep-water ponding, animal fats, oils, and pH and temperature extremes.

EpoxyFlex tenaciously adheres to most known roofing materials reducing structural problems related to ballast weight, or problems related to mechanical penetrations through the roof.

What warranty is available for the EpoxyFlex Roofing System?
A lifetime renewable warranty is available and is a non-prorated, transferable, full material, and labor warranty capable of being extended for the life of the building with a maintenance coat every 10 years.
